Printable Planner & Calendar  ·  Effective Date: May 25, 2026  ·  Last Updated: May 25, 2026

Plain English Summary: This app does not sell your personal data. We collect only what's needed to run the app and show ads. Free users see ads powered by Google AdMob. Premium users have an ad-free experience. You are always in control of your data.

1. Who We Are

This ("we," "us," or "our") is the developer of the Printable Planner & Calendar iOS application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

If you have any questions, you can contact us at: shahab195dev@gmail.com

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Calendar events, planner entries, and notes you create inside the app
  • Custom photos or images you choose to add to your planners
  • App preferences and theme settings

Information Collected Automatically

  • Device type, iOS version, and app version
  • Crash reports and performance diagnostics (via Firebase)
  • General usage analytics (features used, session length) — no personal identifiers

Information Collected by Google AdMob (Free Version Only)

The free version of Paperly displays ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve and personalize ads, Google may collect:

  • Advertising ID (IDFA) — only with your permission via App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt
  • Approximate location (country/region level)
  • Device information (model, OS version)
  • App usage data for ad targeting
  • IP address (used to determine general location)

Google's data collection is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can review Google's data safety information for AdMob at support.google.com/admob.

Premium subscribers do not see ads and AdMob data collection does not apply to them.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the Paperly app experience
  • To save your planner data on your device (stored locally)
  • To sync your data via iCloud (if enabled by you)
  • To display relevant advertisements in the free version
  • To analyze app performance and fix bugs
  • To process in-app purchases via Apple's App Store
  • To respond to your support requests

We do not use your data for profiling, sell it to third parties, or use it for any purpose beyond what is listed above.

4. Data Storage & Security

All planner content (events, notes, templates) is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is synced through Apple's encrypted iCloud infrastructure — we do not have access to it.

We do not operate our own servers to store your personal planner data. We use industry-standard security practices and rely only on trusted platforms (Apple iCloud, Firebase) for any data handling.

5. Third-Party Services

App uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

🔴 Google AdMob 🔥 Firebase Analytics ☁️ Apple iCloud

6. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

On iOS 14.5 and above, we ask for your permission before tracking you across apps and websites for advertising purposes. This prompt is required by Apple and powered by their App Tracking Transparency framework.

  • If you allow tracking: AdMob may show you personalized ads based on your interests.
  • If you decline tracking: You will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized (contextual only). The app functions fully either way.

You can change your tracking preference at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at shahab195dev@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

Our AdMob implementation is configured to treat all users as children of unknown age in contexts where COPPA applies, disabling personalized advertising for those users.

8. Your Rights & Choices

For All Users

  • Delete your data: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. To delete iCloud data, go to Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → Paperly.
  • Opt out of ad tracking: Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → toggle off Paperly.
  • Limit ad tracking: Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → toggle off Personalized Ads.

California Residents (CCPA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to know what personal data we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal data. For any CCPA requests, contact us at shahab195dev@gmail.com.

UK & EEA Residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are located in the UK or European Economic Area, you have rights under GDPR including the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict processing of your personal data. Our lawful basis for processing is legitimate interest (app functionality) and consent (ad tracking via ATT). To exercise your rights, contact us at shahab195dev@gmail.com.

9. Data Retention

We retain analytics data (crash reports, usage logs) for a maximum of 12 months. RevenueCat retains purchase records as required by law. All planner content stored locally on your device is retained until you delete it or uninstall the app.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via an in-app message. Continued use of Paperly after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
